Artist Bio
Grey Fokin (they/them) is an artist working in the intersection between art, science, and technology who creates installation art focused on projected video and animation, sound, and interactivity. Their work explores creative coding, documentation, collage, and poetry. Fokin creates multimedia system art based on research around a variety of topics including identity, sensation, and perception. Fokin is currently working as an intern with Milk River Arts to help with their Validation Day Parade in April. After graduating in May 2024 from VCUArts with a BFA in Kinetic Imaging, they plan on pursuing a career encouraging their interests in the relationship between art, science, and technology.
